This video is about a young girl who is chatting to a man she does not know. The man asks her to meet him and she does. She really likes the man and thinks he makes her feel special! but is that really the truth?

  1. 1. The nature of cyber dangers are that the people you talk to are unpredictable and it is very dangerous.
    2. She must have felt that the man was very important to her and that made her feel like that doing anything was possible for him.
    3. The way that people ask for request can sound suspicious and if people do not think much about it, the way they understand it can be different.

  2. -They let their "prey" feel close to them and trick them into doing what they wanted them to do.

    -She did not know about the dangers online and the real identity of the person was shielded by the fake praises.

    -Nobody knows who that person actually is in real life and that nobody can verify the identity easily.

    They are insanely dangerous and can be life threatening too.

    2•Why do you think she succumbed so easily to the temptations that eventually led her to be a victim?
    The guy managed to praise her so much that she became infatuated with him and thus would almost do anything for her, only when her conscious realized that she was in danger.

    3•Why is it so easy to assume a different persona online?
    In online chats, on one can se your true face thus, you can't see what sort of person he/she is.

    2.The man made her feel good about herself.Thus , leading her to be the victim.

    3.Because you don't see the real person himself/herself .Thus,it is so easy to assume a different persona online

  5. 1. You will not know who exactly is the person you are chatting with. You will also not know the intentions of the person.

    2. She was lonely and had no one to talk to. As such, she felt that she had someone to talk to whenever she chatted with the person online.

    3. No evidence and prove is needed for someone to take pose as someone else.

    You may get your identity and privacy stolen.

    This was because that the man made her think thet he was treating her in a special way, so she was succumbed to this temptation.
    3. Why is it so easy to assume a different person online?
    This is because they say some things that reveal their true identity.

    2) The person had 'sweet talked' to the girl making her think that he is a good person.
    3) The cyberworld is huge and it is not very hard to fake a person

  8. 1. They show the girl being physically harassed when she actually does whatever a stranger tells her to do, which is actually very dangerous and very unpredicatble.
    2. The girl thought that the man really likes her and she did whatever she said.
    3. They might use different identity, fake names and even fake personal details.

  9. 1. The nature of cyber dangers are that the people whom you talk to, are people you actually not know, so you will not be able to tell his/her intentions and it could be dangerous.
    2. I think it is because the man said a lot of good stuff about her to make her feel loved and very special to him.
    3. It is because we cannot tell the actually personality online as they can hide their emotions and feelings.

    They are anonymous, and the victim is unable to find out if someone really is who he/she is on the internet.

    -Why do you think she succumbed so easily to the temptations that eventually led her to be a victim?-

    The stranger she was talking to complimented her,and made her feel special, making her believe the man.

    -Why is it so easy to assume a different persona online?-

    It is easy to assume a different persona online as anyone can be anonymous on the internet, and it is not difficult to come up with a false profile of a person(e.g. Name, DoB, Picture, etc.)

  11. 1. The nature of cyber dangers are that you do not know who the person is in real life as the person may be faking their identity and character.

    2. She may have little friends or the stranger could have helped her out with many things, earning her trust.

    3. Since they do not know the person in real life, it is easy for people to fake their identity

  12. 1. The person could impersonate another person with a different identity and try to get close to his victim where he/she thinks they are safe.

    2. She could have been curious to find out more. Furthermore, she thinks that the stranger is a nice and handsome man, allowing herself to trust him.

    3. Without particulars such as the picture and date of birth, one would not be able to differentiate people. A boy may have been a man, hence you are not sure of the person's true identity.

  13. 1) The danger is that you do not know the identity of the person you are communicating to.
    2) She likes to be praised and the other person had praised her and makes her believe that he likes her.
    3) When you are online, other people cannot tell if you are telling the truth. You can easily lie to others and keep your identity hidden.

    The stranger could have been very kind and caring to the girl, which made her like him.

    You can choose your gender, your name, your date of birth in cyberspace, unlike in reality

    The man praised and acted as a nice person

    You cannot see the person's true feelings and you might be acting as a nice guy to get hold of him
