Digital Footprint
Is basically everything on the internet that is about you! Sometimes content about you may be viewed by people you don’t know. Your digital footprint may include photos, audio, videos, blog posts, posts you write on friends’ walls. Like all information on the internet, it can be permanent. 3. Strangers can get your personal information, and stalk you. They can use that information to make purchases with your bank account even.
They think that those stalkers are generally harmless, and only are pranksters having fun. Some may think that with security software installed, they are safe.
They could organise a mock hack, and let those people know that their accounts are not safe at all

  6. People can see everything that you are doing and you can be traced down to what you have been doing.

Many people think that by setting as private or not being friends with people that they do not know means that others cannot track them down.

They should create clips and videos about the dangers and hold more talks to the public and it is best to start from young.

  7. •Reflect on the imminent dangers presented in the video on ‘Digital Footprint’
Via our 'Digital Footprints', the photos that we post, the words that we comment can be copied and thus used to blackmail us.

•Why do you think many people are ignorant of such dangers?
They feel that they have security devices installed and thus hackers/stalkers cannot capture what they do.

•What do think should be done to make people aware of these dangers.
We can raise awareness by doing campaigns.

    2. They take for granted that their privacy settings are above prying eyes and tend to be complacent. They then post images or information about themselves that can be used against them. This allows for ease of communication with their close friends.

    3. Newspapers can report more about such incidents via true, life stories. This grabs the attention of the public as they are able to relate to such instances, since it is true.
