  1. What does the SARs experience tell you about the Singapore community a decade ago?[Point of View]

    The SARS experience tells us that Singaporean community is a very bonded one, which led to the people caring for each other during the SARS period.

    Identify the values that guided the actions that were made in the welfare of others during the SARs experience. [Inferences]

    The values were actually care and share.

    Why is it important for you to be concerned about and involved in the challenges Singapore faces? [Question at Issue]

    This is because we are responsible to keep our country moving, regardless of any costs.

    As an active and concerned member of the society, describe one way you can contribute to keeping the Singapore Spirit alive in times of peace and stability. [End View]

    We can be a very active citizen and contribute to the growth of Singapore

    1• The Singapore community would help others who are in need.
    2• The values of SIngaporeans are that they are very kind and helpful and would give up their own lives to help others.
    3• In the upcoming years, SIngapore may be challenged as a country. We as Singaporeans, must aid our country and help others who are in need. Together we stand, divided we fall.
    4• Help others who are in real need of help.

  3. 1. It showed how the Singapore community was bonded and able to help each other overcome this outbreak, through cooperating with the government and informing/updating each other about the situation.
    2. The selfless and courageous doctors and nurses were brave to sacrifice their health for the sake of others, and the groups who helped to make cooling tea for the ill, and to encourage others during the tough times.
    3. It is because we are citizens of Singapore, and it is our duty to help and contribute to our society, and we should be kept informed of what is going on around us, so that we can help spread news/updates of the situation, and help our own family in any way possible.
    4. We can help by participating in community service events, to extend a helping hand to the needy and poor Singaporeans, and to help keep our singapore clean through picking up litter, and helping to remind our friends and family to do the same.

    1. It shows the stories that Singaporeans themselves have experienced.
    2. I feel proud of my country, that we have gone through so much, yet we are so strong.

  4. 1) The Singapore community is united as one and we have a very strong teamwork.

    2) Selflessness, resilience, unity.

    3) So we can give out solution when we think of one and we will take precautions when outside and stuffs.

    -The community was united, and helped each other when in need
    -Kind, helpful and very selfless
    -We, as a citizen of Singapore, have a duty to contribute to our country, and we should be informed of current events
    -Help others who are in need, without any expectations of reward.
    -It shows that Singapore too experience hardship, and we overcame it
    -We feel proud of Singapore, as although we are young we have endured and became stronger

  6. 1. The Singapore Community a decade ago were very unified and bonded together. They were quick to react to the sudden outbreak of SARS to try to stop the spreading.
    2. They were fast and well thought of as people were monitored to check who were possibly infected with SARS to separate them from the rest to prevent spreading.
    3. We will be able to help one another out to play a part in stopping the problem as fast as we can to reduce the number of casualties.
    4. We can help by for example giving up the seats to the needy people on public transport or by helping someone picking up their things if they accidentally dropped them.

    1. It shows that the people are unified and quick to respond to the problem.
    2. I feel proud to be the citizen of a country that is well prepared to face problems coming.

  7. 1. Singapore is a very united community and will help one another to overcome the challenge together with the help of the government.
    2. Caring, sharing, empathy, helpful, kindness, initiative
    3. As a Singaporean, we are the children of this country so everyone has a part in keeping our home safe, therefore we have to help out in our society in times of crisis, together as one.
    4. We can help by keeping the environment clean for everyone and help out each other when in times of crisis and disasters.

    1)
    It tells us that Singapore is a very united nation until the fire nation attacked.

    2)
    Kindness was spread throughout Singapore when people gave out free thermometers for the good health of the people and not to mention courageous acts of the doctors and nurses who were willing to risk their lives to save others.

    3)
    We are one nation and one people and one Singapore. We should be united as one and care for one another as we are all related someway or another until the fire nation attacked.

    We can always express our kindness and make people smile whether how small the effort.

  13. 1) It tells us that Singapore is like a Greece, united when there is common enemy (vice versa)
    2) Kindness is a beauty thing, like a germ, it spread when there are people infected with it and go sneezing all around the place.
    3) We are like a cookie, when shatter, you can never put it back unless you buy another one and eat it.
    4) Kindness can be spread like H1N1, so beautiful, yet so deadly....towards the evil people, that is. ("evil" as in your own interpretations of evil....or good) (and Mrs Ng stop chasing me. Show a bit of kindness......(-.-)
